India, March 28 -- The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has awarded Team Ajna as the Second Runner-Up in the prestigious Indian Web Browser Development Challenge (IWBDC). This initiative, launched under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat mission, aims to foster indigenous innovation in web browsing technology and strengthen India's digital sovereignty.

Among 434 registered teams from across the country, the 2023 startup Ajna distinguished itself with its innovative approach, winning a cash prize of Rs.50 lakh. This recognition underscores Ajna's contribution towards India's secure browsing ecosystem and digital independence.
