India, March 25 -- India is a strategic market and innovation hub for Infineon, a global leader in power systems and IoT. With more than 2.500 employees, Infineon India has been driving R&D and innovation for almost over 25 years in the country's semiconductor ecosystem.

Infineon now expands its presence in India even further with a Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Ahmedabad, located in the Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City). The inauguration was presided over by the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Bhupendra Patel, and Infineon CEO, Jochen Hanebeck.
