India, Dec. 23 -- Aiming to boost its agentic AI capabilities, HCLSoftware announced that it aims to acquire Wobby, an Antwerp-based early-stage startup that provides AI data analyst agents for data warehouses. The acquisition is expected to close by February next year, the software business division of HCLTech said in a statement.

Driven by enterprise data management solutions, HCLSoftware's Data & AI division, Actian, has been witnessing growing demand for its metadata management, data catalog and data governance solutions over the last five years.
