Singapore, Jan. 25 -- From sports meets to career talks to a "high school" prom, the homeschool scene here has grown and is abuzz with activity.

It is holding its first prom in May, for homeschooling teenagers who are aged 12 and above, so they can have that once-in-a-lifetime youngster experience.

Since 2018, guest speakers from industries such as law and the media have also been invited as part of a Little U programme to give talks to homeschool parents and children to expose them to possible careers.

Parents also take turns to organise weekly sessions called co-ops for their children to meet.
