Amul has launched 'Sarlaben', an AI-powered virtual assistant to deliver real-time advisory support to dairy farmers across 18,500 villages in Gujarat. The initiative was inaugurated by Bhupendra Patel and marks a key step in the cooperative's digital transformation.
Sarlaben leverages one of India's largest structured dairy datasets, including over 200 crore annual milk procurement transactions, veterinary records covering nearly 3 crore cattle, and around 70 lakh artificial inseminations each year, along with fodder mapping supported by ISRO satellite data.
