New Delhi, March 7 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday received a grand welcome from the people in Silvassa as he visit the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu to inaugurate multiple development projects.

Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development works for the union territory worth over Rs.2,580 crore.

"A landmark day for Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu as key development projects are being launched," said PM Modi.

the Prime Minister also inaugurated the first phase of the NAMO Hospital.
