New Delhi, July 8 -- In a shift in post-9/11 US airport security policy, passengers at several major airports in United States are no longer being asked to remove their shoes during standard preflight screenings, CBS News has confirmed. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) appears to be phasing out the longstanding rule at select locations, with no official announcement made thus far.
