New Delhi, Nov. 7 -- US President Donald Trump's press briefing at the Oval office on lowering weight-loss drug prices after announcing a deal with drugmakers Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk, ended abruptly after a pharma executive suddenly collapsed.

The executive who collapsed was identified as Novo Nordisk's Gordon Findlay, during the start of Eli Lilly CEO Dave Ricks' speech.

He was standing near President Donald Trump's desk. The press meet, which was televised, was cancelled immediately, before it resumed.

"During the most favored nations Oval Office announcement, a representative with one of the companies fainted. The white house medical unit quickly jumped into action, and the gentleman is okay," said the White House.
