New Delhi, May 14 -- Tourist Family, the Tamil family drama starring M. Sasikumar and Simran, was released in cinemas on May 1. The film is now set to mark its OTT debut.

Tourist Family has shown a strong performance at the Indian box office. The movie, made with Rs.16 crore, has already recovered its full budget and is now a hit.

Directed by Abishan Jeevinth, the film also features Yogi Babu, MS Bhaskar, Ramesh Thilak, Bagavathi Perumal and Elango Kumaravel in important roles.

The Tamil movie opened modestly with Rs.2 crore on Day 1, dipped slightly on Day 2 and picked up momentum over the first weekend, hitting Rs.3.75 crore on Sunday.
