New Delhi, Nov. 7 -- Supreme Court directs all States and Union Territories, National Highway Authority, and civic bodies to remove stray cattle from National Highways, state highways and roads.
Supreme Court orders removal of stray dogs from the premises of educational institutions, hospitals, bus stands, railway stations, etc, and directs them to be shifted to dog shelters.
They should not be released to the same spot from which they were picked up.
Supreme Court directs States and Union Territories to form highway patrol team to catch stray cattle from roads and put them in shelter homes where they will be taken care of.
