New Delhi, June 7 -- Congress leader Sonia Gandhi was rushed to the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital in Delhi after her health deteriorated in Shimla on Saturday, reports have said.

As per a report by News18 quoting sources, the veteran Congress leader, who turned 78 last December, was taken to the hospital for tests and checkup. The report further mentioned that a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is being conducted on her.

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu is expected to reach the hospital in Delhi soon, the report added.
