New Delhi, June 28 -- Shefali Jariwala, actor and dancer who became a household name with her appearance in the hit music video Kaanta Laga, died on Friday night. Reportedly, she suffered a cardiac arrest. However, the official cause of her death is not out yet.

The actor's sudden demise at 42 has left her fans, colleagues, and others in the entertainment industry shocked.

Confirming her death, the All Indian Cine Workers Association, posted on X: "Shefali Jariwala is no longer with us. Gone too soon at just 42 due to a sudden heart attack. It's hard to believe she's gone. May her soul rest in peace, and may God give strength to her family during this heartbreaking time."
