New Delhi, July 19 -- Wildlife enthusiasts were thrilled after a rare and mesmerising video emerged on social media, showing a black panther walking alongside two spotted leopards on a road in the Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu. The 29-second clip has gone viral, giving a rare look at the mysterious big cat in the company of its more commonly seen counterparts.

The video was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Parveen Kaswan, who captioned it: "Bagheera (black panther) and other friends for a night walk on the roads of Nilgiris. What a rare thing." The footage shows all three felines calmly strolling down the road under the night sky, their graceful movements captivating viewers.
