New Delhi, April 29 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday announced a financial assistance of Rs.50 lakh for the families of the deceased from Maharashtra who were killed in the Pahalgamterroristattack.

The state government will also focus on the education and employment needs of these families. The girl from the Jagdale family will be given a government job, said Fadnavis.

In the barbaric attack, 26 people were killed by Pakistan -linked terrorist inJammu and Kashmir'sPahalgam on April 22.
