New Delhi, Feb. 17 -- The New Delhi Railway Station stampede case reached the Supreme Court as a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) was filed at India's apex law body on Monday, February 17, seeking to consult experts and come up with guidelines to prevent such mishaps, reported the news portal LiveLaw.
A PIL is a petition which is filed under a court with the aim of protecting the rights of the public.
