New Delhi, Feb. 10 -- State-owned National Fertilizers Ltd (NFL) reported a 70 per cent drop in its consolidated net profit, which stood at Rs.45.81 crore for the December quarter of the current fiscal, primarily due to lower revenue. In comparison, the company had recorded a net profit of Rs.150.90 crore in the same quarter last year.

Total revenue declined by 23 per cent to Rs.5,855.85 crore in the October-December quarter, down from Rs.7,584.27 crore in FY24, as per a regulatory filing.

Meanwhile, expenses were also lower at Rs.5,842.01 crore during the period, compared to Rs.7,409.05 crore a year earlier.
