New Delhi, Aug. 2 -- Kalabhavan Nawas, a Malayalam actor and noted mimicry artist, was found dead in a hotel room in Kerala on Friday, August 1. He was 51.

According to news agency ANI, Kalabhavan Nawas was found lying unconscious in his hotel room at Chottanikara in Kochi's Ernakulam. The actor was reportedly rushed to the hospital immediately, where the doctors declared him dead.

The cause of death is unknown, while the primary analysis revealed that he died due to cardiac arrest. A post-mortem will be conducted on Saturday to confirm the cause of the death.

The incident came to light on Friday evening when the staff of the hotel, where Navas (51) was staying for a film shoot, alerted authorities.
