New Delhi, July 28 -- Maharashtra government on Monday issued a new set of rules for its employees to use social media and warned that employees violating these norms will face action.
The new media policy bars government employees from criticising the policies of government in state and other dispensations on social media platform.
The new guidelines apply to all government officers and staff.
The social media guidelines also warned that employees violating the new norms will face action under the Maharashtra Civil Service Conduct Rules 1979.
