New Delhi, June 15 -- Israel and Iran launched fresh attacks on each other overnight into Sunday, stoking fears of a wider conflict after Israel expanded its surprise campaign against its main rival with a strike on the world's biggest gas field.

Israel's military said early Sunday it targeted Iran's defense ministry headquarters in Tehran. Israel's military also said it targeted sites it alleged were associated with Iran's nuclear program around Tehran.

1. Israel's Defense Forces said in a pot on X that they have completed an extensive series of strikes on targets in Tehran related to the "Iranian regime's nuclear weapons project."
