New Delhi, Aug. 2 -- An Indian-origin woman and founder of a US-based startup has stirred a heated discussion online after claiming that working 80 hours a week is not excessive but simply the "baseline". Neha Suresh, the founder of April - a US-based AI voice assistant app - posted a timelapse video on X (formerly Twitter), showing her working from early morning until late at night.
In her now-viral post, Suresh wrote: "If you're not spending 14+ hours a day working on your dream, you're ngmi." She added, "You can't build a world-changing product on 9-5 energy. 80-hour weeks aren't extreme. It's baseline."
