New Delhi, March 4 -- Virat Kohli top-scored with 84 as India secured a four-wicket victory over Australia in the Champions Trophy semifinal on Tuesday in Dubai. Chasing a target of 265, India reached 267/6 in 48.1 overs, with 11 balls to spare.
Shreyas Iyer contributed 45, while KL Rahul (42) and Hardik Pandya (28) played crucial supporting roles.
Batting first, Australia were bowled out for 264 in 49.3 overs. Captain Steve Smith top-scored with 73 off 96 balls, forming key partnerships-50 runs with Travis Head (39) and 56 runs with Marnus Labuschagne (29).
Wicketkeeper Alex Carey also made a significant contribution with 61 runs.
