Holi 2025, March 9 -- The Holi festival this year is expected to generate over Rs.60,000 crore in business, a report has said on Sunday.

According to estimates of the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), the Holi festival this year is expected to generate business worth over Rs.60,000 crore, showing a nearly 20% increase compared to the previous year's figure of Rs.50,000 crore.

Holi will be celebrated on Friday, March 14. Ahead of the festival of colours, people have already started to go out for shopping, buying colours, clothes, accessories and sweets.
