New Delhi, May 19 -- Hindustan Media Ventures Ltd (HMVL), the publisher ofHindustan and the operator of digital platform OTTPlay, reported a profit after tax of Rs.45.40 crore in the quarter ended March, up from Rs.10.74 crore a year earlier.

Revenue from operations rose to Rs.201.25 crore from Rs.188.05 crore last year, HMVL said in a regulatory filing on Monday.

Total expenses in the fourth quarter were lower at Rs.208.58 crore versus Rs.219.51 crore in the year-ago period.
