New Delhi, July 18 -- Chaitanya Baghel, son of Congress leader and former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, bas been arrested by ED in connection with a money laundering case related to an alleged liquor scam.

ED officials searched the house for the second time this year, in the state's Bhilai, with the Congress MLA taking a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, calling the action 'gifts' on his son's birthday.

On his part, Bhupesh Baghel claimed that this was done to prevent him from raising the issue of trees being felled for a coal mine project by the Adani Group in the Tamnar tehsil of the state's Raigarh district.
