New Delhi, March 1 -- Elon Musk led electric vehicle company Tesla has finalised a deal to open its first showroom in India at Mumbai's posh Bandra Kurla Complex, according to a Times of India report. The Tesla showroom is said to occupy a space of 4,000 sq ft on ground floor of a commercial tower in BKC. Elon Musk's company is said to pay among the highest rent lease for a commercial space, coming in at Rs.900/sq ft or around Rs.35 lakh per month.

Tesla is said to have finalized a lease agreement in BKC for five years and the company is also reportedly working on opening a second showroom in Delhi's Aerocity.
