New Delhi, March 16 -- Netflix has reportedly decided not to renew Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's $100-million deal. However, one-off projects might still happen. According to journalist Marina Hyde, this could be a strategic move as streaming platforms may wait in case the couple divorces, which could become a ratings goldmine.
Hyde believes their biggest hit was the 2022 documentary Meghan & Harry. Meghan's latest show, With Love, Meghan, received poor reviews and low viewership on Netflix.
Meghan's show has been criticised by more than journalists. Netflix comedians Whitney Cummings, Christina Pazsitzky and Katherine Ryan have also taken jabs at the Duchess of Sussex.
