New Delhi, Dec. 9 -- Belgium's Supreme Court - the Court of Cassation - on Tuesday rejected fugitive diamond trader Mehul Choksi's latest attempt to block his extradition. Choksi had moved the country's highest court on October 30 after the Antwerp Court of Appeals, in its October 17 ruling, deemed India's extradition request "enforceable."
Confirming the development to PTI, Court of Cassation spokesperson, Advocaat-general Henri Vanderlinden, said, "The Court of Cassation rejected the appeal. So, the decision of the Court of Appeal stands."
