Bengaluru rains, March 22 -- Heavy rains on Saturday evening lashed Bengaluru city, affecting vehicular traffic and flights movement.

Several areas have also witnessed water-logging due to which traffic is moving at slow pace.

According to reports, at least 10 flights going to Bengaluru have been diverted to Chennai.

KR Pura traffic police said that traffic is slow on sevaral locations due to water-logging.

"Due to water-logging on the Ramamurthynagar Bridge, the traffic on the Ramamurthynagar-Banaswadi main road is slow. This will be cleared soon and motorists/drivers are requested to cooperate," said traffic police.

Traffic is slow due on the Ring Road near the Grand Season Hotel on Kasturinagar Ring Road.
