New Delhi, May 23 -- Ashok Leyland, the Indian flagship of the Hinduja Group, released its March quarter performance on Friday, May 23, reporting a 38.4% year-on-year (YoY) jump in its consolidated net profit to Rs.1,246 crore. In the same period last year, the company had reported a net profit of Rs.900 crore.
Revenue from operations during the reporting quarter came in at Rs.11,906 crore, slightly below Street estimates of Rs.12,196 crore.
