New Delhi, Dec. 10 -- Japan was struck by another earthquake of magnitude 5.7 off the east coast of Honshu on Wednesday, two days after a 7.5-magnitude tremor rocked the country, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said.
The quake was at a depth of 31 km, the EMSC said. It earlier put the magnitude at 6.5 and depth at 57 km.
No reports of major damage or casualties were reported so far.
Emergency teams are monitoring the situation as aftershocks continue to rattle the region.
