New Delhi, March 27 -- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Wednesday, March 26, that Russian President Vladimir Putin 'will die soon', which, he believes, would end the ongoing war between the two countries.

Zelensky's bold claims on Vladimir Putin have come amid speculation around the Russian leader's 'deteriorating' health and the Black Sea ceasefire deal between Ukraine and Russia, brokered by the United States.

But US attempt to pause the war between Russia and Ukraine did not come for free. As a precondition for a ceasefire deal, the US had agreed to help Russia lift a series of Western sanctions and restrictions on food, fertiliser and shipping companies.
