New Delhi, March 16 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah was seriously impressed at the singing skills of a 7-year-old in Mizoram, prompting him to gift a guitar to the little girl following her performance of a heartfelt rendition of Vande Mataram in Aizawl on Saturday.

Esther Lalduhawmi Hnamte sang the soulful rendition of the song at a function in Aizawl, where Amit Shah was visiting as part of his northeast tour.

The home minister posted a video of the child prodigy singing Vande Mataram, followed by pictures of him gifting her the guitar an office.
