India, Feb. 1 -- February 1 marks the birth anniversary of Langston Hughes, one of the most influential voices of the Harlem Renaissance. In honour of his legacy, today's quote of the day comes from his short but enduring poem "Dreams":
"Hold fast to dreams
For if dreams die
Life is a broken-winged bird
That cannot fly.
Hold fast to dreams
For when dreams go
Life is a barren field
Frozen with snow."
