India, Sept. 25 -- Bappi Lahiri, the legendary Indian singer and composer, died at the age of 69 on February 15, 2022 due to complications from obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Even former US president Joe Biden used a medical device (Continuous positive airway pressure or CPAP machine) to treat sleep apnea, a common disorder in which breathing is interrupted repeatedly during sleep.
