Bhubaneswar, May 2 -- A 21-year-old student from Nepal was found dead inside her hostel room at the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) in Odisha on Thursday, a senior police officer said, suspecting it to be a case of suicide, with the incident coming less than three months after another Nepalese student at the institution died by suicide following alleged blackmail by her classmate. "The girl was found hanging from the ceiling fan of her hostel room in KIIT.
