India, April 20 -- An international study, published in Scientific Reports on 2 April, 2025, revealed that the nose may have a lot to do with the people we make friendship with, and the ones we avoid. Even before the brain can detect, the nose catches the scent of a person, their natural body odour mixed with perfume. However, only after the initial chat with the person, the nose updates these preferences and help us arrive to a decision.
