New Delhi, April 9 -- The Delhi government is planning to introduce a "tatkal", or immediate, appointment facility for urgent property and document registration, said officials, adding that the service will be available for a premium fee, the details of which are still being finalised.
The move is intended to curb the influence of middlemen who charge extra money to secure quick appointments at sub-registrar offices, especially during periods of high demand, said a revenue department official.
