New Delhi, Feb. 10 -- Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Atishi stepped down as Delhi chief minister on Sunday, a day after the party suffered a drubbing in the assembly elections. Atishi handed over the resignation letter to LG VK Saxena during a meeting at Raj Niwas.
The LG's office said Saxena has asked Atishi to continue as the caretaker CM till the formation of a new government. Separately, BJP president JP Nadda met Union home minister Amit Shah as the party's exercise to pick the new Delhi chief minister gathered pace. P11
