UAE, March 24 -- Canadian University Dubai (CUD) Associate Professor, Dr. Malcolm Price, has joined a team of experts convened by the World Health Organisation (WHO) to tackle the leading global cause of maternal mortality. The project is part-funded by the Gates Foundation and will explore excessive bleeding after childbirth, known clinically as postpartum haemorrhage (PPH), in order to improve prevention and treatment of the life-threatening condition.
