Dehradun, 23 Jan: Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd) participated as the Chief Guest on Friday at the sixth convocation ceremony of Sridev Suman Uttarakhand University. At the convocation held at the Pandit Lalit Mohan Sharma Campus, Rishikesh, the Governor conferred degrees upon successful students and awarded gold medals to students securing the highest marks. He also felicitated teachers for their outstanding services. On this occasion, the Governor inaugurated a guest house, Type-5 residential quarters, and a multipurpose building on the campus.
