Dehradun, 6 Jun: A woman lost nearly Rs 30,000 in an online shopping scam. The victim had placed an order online, and the fraudsters, who had complete details of her order, called her pretending to be executives from the company. They asked her to make an online payment instead of opting for Cash on Delivery. The victim, Niharika Tomar, has filed a complaint at Rajpur Police Station in Dehradun.
According to the complaint, Niharika, received a phone call from someone pretending to be an executive of Tira Beauty - an online beauty product platform. The caller had full details of her online order, which made her trust him.
