Haridwar, Feb. 19 -- The State level unit of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has strongly come out in support of the Uniform Civil Code in Uttarakhand, Addressing a key meeting of VHP on UCC at the state office of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) in Seth Muralimal Dharamshala, Upper Road, Haridwar, VHP State Organisation Secretary Ajay Kumar asserted that implementing the UCC would foster social harmony and enhance security of women.
