DEHRADUN, Feb. 10 -- Uttarakhand, so far, have won 60 medals in the 38th National Games including 13 golds, 22 silvers and 25 bronze.
The state's sprint in the medals tally was noticed on Friday after winning three golds and two silvers in twe-kondo and football followed by 5 golds in modern pentathlon on Saturday.
On Saturday, the state's players showcased brilliant performance acquiring 6 gold- 5 in modern pantathlon, 1 in lawn bowl and and 6 bronze- 2 in modern pentathlon, 2 in lawn bowl and 2 in athletics.
The state's best performance before this was witnessed back in 2002, the 32nd National Games in Andhra Pradesh, the first after Uttarakhand's formation where the state stood at 13th position with 10 medals. After which, with follow...
