DEHRADUN, March 24 -- A significant programme was organised to mark World Water Day 2025 by the Uttarakhand State Council of Science and Technology (UCOST) in collaboration with Uttarakhand Jal Sansthan here on Saturday. The event witnessed discussions by experts on glacier conservation, water quality, and related technical fields, focusing on future prospects and innovative approaches in water resource management.

Chief Guest DP Uniyal, Joint Director of UCOST, underscored the importance of water quality and glacier conservation, highlighting the need for new research initiatives to address the water crisis.
