Dehradun, April 13 -- Reaffirming the commitment to making Uttarakhand India's premier film destination, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said today the state government is working with a well-planned strategy to promote filmmaking. He announced that the state has now extended financial subsidies to films and web series released on OTT platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Sony Liv, Zee5, and JioCinema.

CM Dhami was speaking at the premiere of the Garhwali feature film, "Meri Pyari Boi", held at Silver City Mall, Dehradun, where he congratulated the cast and crew and emphasised the state government's strong support for all aspects of the film industry.
