Dehradun, Feb. 22 -- MLA Kishore Upadhyay, a pioneer of the Himalaya, Ganga, and Jal-Jeevan Abhiyan and the Vanadhikar Movement, has described the budget presented by the Dhami government in the Legislative Assembly as progressive and a significant step towards the development of Uttarakhand.
Upadhyay stated that the budget is primarily based on the three essential elements of life - air, water, and food. He emphasized that the new concept of GEP (Gross Environmental Product) will not only send a strong message across India but also globally. This approach will enhance resource availability in environmentally conserved areas worldwide and help slow down the pace of climate change.
