Dehradun/Mumbai, Feb. 3 -- Actor and producer Sowmya Pandey has won the Best Actor (Female) award at the Bharat International Film Festival for her performance in the short film Grahan. The film also received the Best Debut Film award at the same festival.

Produced by Sowmya Pandey, Grahan has emerged as a strong presence on the global film-festival circuit, winning 12 awards for Best Short Film across national and international platforms. The film has also been recognised at the Indie Film Festival, California (USA) and named a Semi-Finalist at the Peshawar International Film Festival.
