Dehradun, 10 Oct: Gurudwara Shri Hemkunt Sahib, nestled in the Himalayas in Chamoli, closed its portals for the winter today. The yatra, which began on 25 May 2025, offered spiritual solace and experience of natural beauty to millions of pilgrims and tourists.
The closing ceremony commenced with the recitation of Sukhmani Sahib, followed by kirtan by Bhai Maninder Singh, Hazoori Ragi of Shri Harmandir Sahib, Amritsar. After the final ardas, Shri Guru Granth Sahib was taken to its winter abode in Govind Dham.
