Dehradun, Oct. 13 -- The Uttarakhand Government has effected a major reshuffle in the state bureaucracy ahead of Diwali, transferring officers from the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Forest Service (IFS), and Provincial Civil Service (PCS). The latest transfer list issued today, includes changes in the responsibilities of 23 IAS officers, 11 PCS officers, three Secretariat Service officers, and one IFS officer. District Magistrates of five districts, namely Nainital, Chamoli, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar, and Almora, have been replaced.
