Dehradun, 31 Dec: The long-pending traffic congestion problem in the Inter-State Bus Terminal (ISBT) area has been addressed following the firm intervention of District Magistrate Savin Bansal. Bansal's strict directive finally led to the reopening of the ISBT exit gate that had remained closed for years. Acting on the DM's strict directives and his expressed displeasure over the prolonged closure, the ISBT management ensured the immediate opening of the gate, alongside the complete removal of illegal and temporary structures at the site. The district administration has claimed that this has resulted in a marked improvement in traffic flow in and around the terminal.
